SMASCO Aerial View.mp4The campus of Saint Mary’s Science College (SMASCO), Ediene Abak was built 65 years ago by Catholic missionaries. It was originally founded for the training of Grade Two teachers before it was converted in 1986 to a senior science college by the then government of Cross River State to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.
SMASCO is a model Science College with well qualified staff and seasoned administrators. It is an all boarding school, carefully designed to guarantee uninhibited and independent growth and development for boys and girls in STEM.
SMASCO registers candidates for both National Examinations Council (NECO) and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). The school is noted for academic laurels and exceptional performances in WASSCE, NECO and JAMB/UTME*.
*JAMB/UTME is the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
